Prior to placing your authentication order, please note this important information.We want to ensure everyone is on the same page, and that you know what to expect from your experience with Authenticate First.
Business hours are Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm EST. We are closed on the weekends and U.S. government holidays.
Orders placed after 5pm EST, weekends, or U.S. gov't holidays will be processed the next business day.
Our estimated turnaround time is 2 business days. This is not a guarantee, but an estimate. Many times the service is completed much sooner, but please allow for more time if we need it. Sometimes we work with 2 experts for accuracy, and this is done at no extra charge to you!
2 or more days does not constitute being "late" and does not qualify for a refund of services.
For time sensitive authentications, we offer expedited service, which is 24 hr or less, excluding weekends and government holidays. If we do not complete your authentication within 24 hrs, we will refund the price of the expedited service - guaranteed!
Our opinion is limited to "yes this is authentic", or "no this is not authentic". We do not explain our opinion, nor will we divulge our authentication techniques by explaining or showing anything related to how we came to our opinion. These techniques and "know how" are our IPR (Intellectual Property Rights) and what we use to run our business. Please note that our accuracy rating is 99.9999%.
You are hiring our services to provide our opinion of authenticity. If you do not agree with our opinion, this does not entitile a refund. You are not paying us to agree with you. Should you not agree with our opinion, you should seek a 2nd or 3rd opinion. Keep in mind we also offer in house authentication on certain brands, which is backed up by a 100% financial guarantee for up to 1 year.
It is our clients responsibility to provide all photos that our expert needs for authentication. If you are not able to provide all requested photos, this does not entitle you to a refund. Please do not place an order for authentication service if there is any chance you cannot provide additional or higher quality photos.
Refunds are granted for several reasons: 1) Order is canceled before any work has started or 2) our expert is unable to authenticate your item after all requested photos have been provided.
By placing your authentication order, you agree with all of our terms and conditions. You absolve AF of any liability or dispute should you not meet any of the criteria.
Our ordering system and our photo submission system is automated. You will receive an automated reply stating that your order was placed. If you use our uploader, you will receive a reply that your photos were submitted. Due to our automations, it is not necessary to follow up with an email asking if we received your order or your photos.
